ABOUT SIAN
I work as a Professional Makeup Artist & Internationally Qualified Beauty Specialist and Holistic Massage Therapist.
At the age of 16, I decided to turn my makeup passion into a career by attending makeup lessons, assisting fellow makeup artists and working in the film industry, gaining experience from a young age which further led me into studying Beauty Therapy after I matriculated and becoming an Internationally (ITEC) Qualified Beauty Specialist & Holistic Massage Therapist.
I studied skincare, facial electrical treatments, full body waxing, manicure & pedicures and massage.
Whilst studying, I continued working in the makeup industry - traveling to different venues to do hair & makeup for a diverse range of clients.
I have done over 150 clients' makeup for special occasions and have been the lead makeup artist for over 50 weddings in Cape Town, South Africa,
I have worked with numerous companies / agents such as Pick n Pay, Three Ships Whiskey, 10 Artist Management and Woolworths (W Beauty)
I was running my own home-based salon 'House of Sian'
which I opened in 2019 where I specialized in facials, skin consultations, full body waxing including intimate waxing, lash & brow tinting, body treatments (such as back facials, vajacials etc.) and full body massages.
I temporarily closed at the beginning of 2023 to offer my services on luxury yachts as a Spa Stewardess all over the world. When I am between yacht jobs I still offer my makeup & hairstyling services when I am back in Cape Town.
My goal is to make every one of my clients comfortable during treatments and provide continuous home-care advice specifically customized for each individual, providing effective results. I always consult with each client before starting their makeup/hairstyling services making sure to understand what look or style a person is most comfortable with and to emphasize everyone's natural beauty through makeup artistry using a wide range of brands in my kit which I have perfected over my many years of experience on all skin types, tones and needs!
